As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I offer a safe, compassionate and inclusive space where you will be heard, understood, and supported. I believe in the power of empathy and curiosity and am committed to helping you navigate your unique context while reconnecting with your innate strengths. I work with diverse individuals and couples, including adolescents 13+, adults and seniors, empowering them with new perspectives to better understand their challenges, strategies to better manage distress, and personal skills to strengthen emotional well-being.
After working with adolescents for 14 years, I’ve witnessed how overwhelming today’s on-demand culture can feel. With bachelor degrees in Kinesiology and Education, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, my passion for supporting wellness has led me to psychotherapy with the awareness that many people struggle silently, compare themselves to others and are unsure how to realign with their authentic self. With an extensive background in Kinesiology, secondary school athletics and coaching, I am especially passionate about supporting adolescent athletes through the mental aspects of performance and injury recovery, including how to better manage existing mental health challenges that may interfere with training or skill acquisition.
Regardless of your context, through a warm relationship where you feel genuinely supported, we can explore the stories influencing how you see yourself, your challenges and your world, creating space for self-compassion, self-understanding and personal growth. If you’re unsure where to begin, come share your story and together we can work toward creating meaningful change that honours your unique experience.
