My journey into social work began almost 30 years ago. I graduated from King’s College at the University of Western Ontario, with an honours BA in 1994 and my Bachelor of Social Work (honours) in 1996. After many years of working in the field, I went back to school and in 2019 I obtained my Masters of Social Work at the University of Waterloo. I have gained invaluable experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings including the hospital, school, community and primary care.

I am passionate about helping people reach their fullest potential and embrace a holistic, mind-body-spirit approach to health. I strive to cultivate a safe and compassionate space where, together, we will co-create your own specialized path to optimal health and well-being.

I work with adults 18 and up that are struggling with their mental health, addictions, life transitions, parenting, grief/loss, interpersonal relationships chronic health issues, caregiver fatigue and burnout. To meet your individual wellness needs and foster resilience, I offer a variety of therapeutic modalities, including CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness Self-Compassion, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). I am a certified conscious EFT practitioner through the National Emotional Freedom Techniques Training Institute. My work with EFT integrates the latest research on trauma and neuroscience. I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your optimal well-being.
